Project Description
This company specializes in systems integration that fuses information technology, security, operations and facility management to support mission-critical organization systems and data. Their brand is about security, strength and reliability as well as an open trusting relationships with their clients. The goals for the company’s new Chicago headquarters were to express their brand and promote collaboration among the staff. The design was based on the juxtaposition between strength and transparency.
My Role
From schematic design through construction, I was on a team of 3 consisting of a Project Manager, Lead Designer and myself. my responsibilities included brainstorming with the lead project designer, preparing design presentations, researching and documenting furniture and finishes, producing construction documentation, coordinating with engineers & furniture dealers, attending site meetings and working with contractors during construction.
